SCULPTRA

A collagen-stimulating injectable made from poly-L-lactic acid. It works deep within the skin to gradually rebuild volume and improve overall structure. Results appear over several weeks to months and are often used for full-face rejuvenation and areas of volume loss.

Sculptra is designed to gradually restore structure, improve skin quality, and rebuild volume over time. Rather than creating immediate fullness, it works by activating your body’s natural collagen production, allowing for a progressive and more enduring result.

This approach is particularly suited for those looking to address deeper volume loss or overall facial hollowing in a way that feels subtle, controlled, and long-lasting. The result is not a sudden change, but a gradual return of structure, firmness, and balance.

Injection & Placement

Sculptra is strategically placed to stimulate collagen in targeted areas, focusing on restoring structure and support over time.

Post-care

After treatment, the 5:5:5 massage protocol is recommended. This involves massaging the treated areas for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days to support even distribution and optimal collagen stimulation.

Who is a good candidate

Individuals experiencing gradual volume loss, skin laxity, or changes in facial structure who prefer a subtle, progressive result. Ideal candidates are those open to a series of treatments and interested in long-term collagen restoration rather than immediate volume.

Who may not be a candidate

Those seeking immediate, more dramatic correction may be better suited for dermal fillers. Sculptra may also not be appropriate for individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have active skin infections, certain autoimmune or inflammatory conditions, or sensitivities to its components. Suitability is determined during consultation.

Sculptra FAQ

What areas can Sculptra treat?

Sculptra is used to address areas of volume loss and structural change, most commonly the temples, cheeks, jawline, and lower face. It can also be used more broadly to improve overall skin quality.

Sculptra works by stimulating your body’s own collagen over time, while dermal fillers provide immediate volume and contour. The two can be combined, often complementing each other to achieve both immediate refinement and long-term structural improvement.

Post-treatment care includes the 5:5:5 massage protocol to ensure even distribution. Mild swelling or bruising may occur and typically resolves within a few days. You will be provided with individualized aftercare instructions.

Treatment is typically performed as a series. The number of vials and sessions depends on the degree of volume loss, facial structure, and desired outcome. A personalized plan is created during consultation, with treatments spaced over several weeks.
